Rain? What rain? It was an unquenchably wonderful weekend and what happened in the marquees was simply stunning.
Even before the book festival had started, ticket sales had broken all records and by the end of the weekend nearly 12,000 people had been through the gates to see some highly entertaining and thought provoking events.
