Borders Book Festival 2013
Thursday 13 June
The festival hits the ground running with a fantastic line-up of events. Adventure, sport, some fascinating life stories, a wee bit of history and some first class fiction too!
Friday 14 June
A night of historical fiction with Hilary Mantel and the Walter Scott Prize, tales of spies, discussions on religion and science, an incredible true life story and a bit of comedy to round off the evening; something for everyone tonight!
Saturday 15 June
From the Isle of Skye to Everest via the Waverley Route – we’ll cover a lot of ground today! Learn about wine and ancient Fragments, join Horrid Henry’s Francesca Simon and meet Horace the Haggis at the Family Book Festival, then finish off your evening with Joanna Lumley or some ‘Tartan Noir’…
Sunday 16 June
The black leather chair means only one thing, Melrose Mastermind is back! Throw in a few zombies, some history and Vikings with Neil Oliver, and we’re onto a winner – then to wrap up the Festival the inimitable John Sessions takes to the stage…
