Day three at the Festival

The BBC were in town today, and we were delighted that Jim Naughtie brought Maggie O’Farrell to the Radio 4 Book Club.  A.A Gill joined us for a wonderful session at Harmony and we had a couple of political faces around the garden too – Jim Sillars and Douglas Alexander who spoke about his life after politics. Jo Marchant give a fascinating talk about mind-body medicine, the legendary chef Albert Roux entertained us his memories and future plans, we had events from the wonderful Celia Imrie, Jonathan Dimbleby & Frederick Forsyth. We ended the evening with audience favourite Sara Pascoe in Harmony Marquee and music and words from Colin Macintyre in the Orchard – another day of variety and fun!
